If there's one thing that stands out about Windows 11, it's the Start Menu. Microsoft has revamped the menu, moving away from the "live tile" approach and opting for a collection of icons that are visually pleasing giving everything a softer look.
The Start Menu is now centered on the Taskbar and has menu new features:
-
- Integrated search: Users may now search for the content they are looking for right from the Start Menu and will return results stored locally on your computer as well as the web
- Common applications: Like in Windows 10, commonly used applications are automatically pinned for quick access
- All Apps: To access the complete list of all the applications installed on the computer, click the All Apps button
- Power options, Settings and File Explorer: Convenient access to the Power options for restarting the computer and putting it to sleep as well as the Settings and File Explorer
Example: Restarting your computer - Lock and sign out of your computer: Quickly lock or sign out of your computer
