Microsoft Edge - Syncing your Favorites/Bookmarks Between Devices

One of the benefits of enabling the sync feature for your account in Microsoft Edge is the ability to carry your favorites/bookmarks between devices.  This is especially helpful when you receive a new device or when your device has been reimaged.

When you turn this feature on, all of your bookmarks save to the cloud.  While CCPS devices are set to automatically enable this feature, it's always a good idea to double-check for yourself.

To ensure that you are signed in properly:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge and click the ellipsis (three horizontal dots) in the window's upper right corner.

  2. Click Settings

  3. Ensure that you are signed in.  If you are not signed in, click sign in.

  4. Next check that you are syncing everything properly.  Click Sync

  5. For the best experience, we recommend ensuring that all of the options are selected.  This will ensure that your preferences are available in Microsoft Edge on any other device you sign into.

  6. Once you select these options, you should start seeing the favorites/bookmarks you sync'd on other devices made available on this one.

If you have any questions or are unable to locate this feature, please submit a ticket with the help desk team so they can reach out with assistance.
