All CCPS student laptops are covered under an Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) warranty. This warranty provides repair or replacement in cases of accidental damage or theft.
It is the student’s responsibility to notify their school immediately when damage or a malfunction is discovered.
Failure to report damage or issues in a timely manner may be considered negligence, and the student may be held responsible for the cost of the repair.
⚠️ Note: The warranty does not cover damage resulting from loss, negligence or intentional actions.

Liquid spills on the keyboard
Water bottle spills
Coffee spills
Orange Juice spills

Drops or bumps (from heights of 15 feet or less)
Fell off desk
Tripped on power cord while charging
Bumped off of desk
Dropped bookbag
Bookbag was stepped on while on the bus

Uncontrollable events
Electrical surges
House fires

Theft

Throwing or punching the laptop
Prying off keyboard keys
Pushing objects into ports
Submerging the laptop in liquid
Pulling rubber off from underneath keys

Neglectful
Attempting to repair the laptop yourself
Overstuffing a backpack, causing pressure damage
Closing the laptop with an object inside

Cosmetic damage
Carving names or designs into laptop
Painting laptop parts
Pulling rubber trim from laptop
Placing stickers on laptop
